From the owner

Westwood is a Victorian Villa set in the Torrs area of Ifracombe, North Devon. The villa has been renovated to a high standard with modern fixtures, fittings and decoration throughout. The house retains much of its original victoriana with original doors, stained glass and tiled hall floor.

The house is in a quite road with access to the coast path to the rear. It has 6 large double rooms, 5 of which are en-suite(the 6th has an ensuite toilet with bathroom just across the hall) and two family bathrooms. Five of the rooms have king size or super king beds, with one room having a double bed.There are flat screen TVs and DVD players are available. The large dining room will seat 12 people as will the beautiful large and airy lounge. There are distant views to the sea from the front bedrooms and views to the garden from the rear. The kitchen has slate floors and is stylish and modern, with American style fridge and 5 ring range cooker and granite work-surfaces. There is a large utility room with space for dirty boots and washing and a dog beds (should you wish to bring your pet).

A walk into town and the harbour is just 10-15 minutes. Damien Hirsts Verity statues is a must visit at the harbour as is his award winning restaurant. Ilfracombe has a host of lovely eateries from Michelin starred Thomas Carr at the Olive room to great Pizzas and of course local seafood. For surf lovers and walkers a like Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton beaches are 10-20 minutes by car.

Westwood is a great house for a family Christmas or for a group of friends wanting to see the New Year in.We are perfect for wedding groups who are attending a wedding or geting married at The Tunnels Beaches and well Summer here is just divine! We can accommodate up to 2 small children/babies with the use of an extra child bed and or travel cot and no extra charge.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Helen (the owner) a message.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
