We have introduced three shepherds’ huts to our site. Each one offering something different. Once again we are offering outdoor living with a twist- luxury, comfort, beautiful countryside, and the great outdoors. All our huts have a bespoke kitchen area, and a well thought out shower/toilet area, so no running across fields in the night. They are fully insulated and heated.

Each hut has its own seating area where you can have a bbq or just sit and look at the big skies of Suffolk or just let the world go by

South Down

South Down is our largest hut 21ft x 8ft it is suitable for up to 4 people.

Decorated and equipped to the highest standard it comprises of bespoke kitchen area with integrated full-size fridge. The luxury shower room/toilet area is also very spacious. The King size bed folds away to reveal seating/dinning area. There is plenty of storage throughout the hut. Luxury cotton bedding and fluffy Egyptian towels are included for your comfort.

For those warm summer evenings there is a private outdoor seating/table with BBQ/firepit area

Well behaved pets are welcome at additional charge of £10 per stay.

On those warm summer evenings we have a table and chairs for you to sit out on and a bbq/firepit.

This is a dog friendly hut.

Bob and Helen will do their up most to greet you with a warm welocme on arrival and will always try to be on hand to give advice. When you arrive you will find tea, coffee, milk eggs and home made cakes in you accomodation.

Please leave the hut clean and tidy, removing all rubbish from the bins and placing the rubbish in the large bin by the gate and glass to be put in the recycling crate.
Place any unused towels on a chair.
Report any breakages, place any crockery etc that has been removed from other accommodation. Put back any outdoor toys.
We know some lovely guests make the bed for us, as much as it looks lovely we love it more when guests strip the beds, leaving the protected sh

Had a great time, very relaxing.

Very peaceful. The hut was very clean and well equipped. Helen showed us round and gave us some info about places nearby and was very welcoming. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Why can't I call Helen (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Helen (the owner) a message.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
