Description from owner

The Lodge is a self contained property in the beautiful grounds of the historic Old Windmill, Inkberrow. This spacious property sleeps 4 people with 2 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with an ensuite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has twin beds. The family bathroom has a WC, bidet and corner bath with a shower over the bath. A mobile cot and highchair are available - baby sitting maybe possible on request.

The living area is open plan with a sitting room, dining area and a breakfast bar. The dining table converts to a full size pool table which is fantastic fun for nights in. The Lodge has a TV and DVD player along with iPod dock, CD player and WIFI.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, range cooker, fridge, freezer and washing machine.

The gated property is secure and has parking for 2 cars. The beautiful tranquil gardens are perfect for those summer evenings with table and chairs and BBQ facilities available. Please note there is a shallow pool outside the Lodge which is home to our ducks.

The Lodge is wonderful in the summer and snug in the winter.

You are welcome to bring your well behaved dogs at a small supplement of £3 per dog per day.

Inkberrow is in the heart of the gently rolling Worcestershire countryside, not far from the border of Warwickshire and laying between the Cathedral City of Worcester and Shakespeare's Stratford on Avon. The village of Inkberrow has been awarded the village of culture 2017/2018 and is said to be the inspiration for Ambridge in the long running radio classic “The Archers”.

The Lodge is set in the village of Inkberrow and In easy walking distance to a number of fine pubs offering everything from simple snacks to gastro dining. The village shop stocks plenty of provisions and newspapers and at the post office you can send parcels or get your cash, all of these are in easy walking distance.

We would prefer change over days on a Friday but we are completely flexible.

“Lovely perfect Lodge at the Old Windmill”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2017

The lodge at the Old Windmill is a wonderful place to stay, it beautifully equipped and keeps that old country feel with great grounds and a pond with some very interesting ducks. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and even though they also went on holiday we had everything we needed and contacts to call if we had any issues. Our black lab loved the garden and walks in nearby field and was also kept on his toes by the ducks. It's a great base to go visiting other areas such as Worcester, Great Malvern and the Cotswolds or just relaxing at the lodge with its pool table and Wifi if really needed to stay online!!! But why would you when you could just unwind in a great comfortable surroundings. The lodge is a credit to Lisa and her husband. We would love to go back and fully recommend this to anyone from couples to small family, and our lab would say the same to all other dogs!!

Response from the owner Hi Jason, Kim and Eddie, We are delighted you enjoyed The Lodge at The Old WIndmill, we look forward to welcoming you back. Kind regards Lisa
