Villa Ariola is a detached private villa, ideally situated on the edge of a village in an unspoilt part of Tuscany, 17 km from the Autostrada with Pisa, Lucca, Florence, the Cinque Terre and several beaches all within driving distance.

The villa has three bedrooms and four bathrooms, luxuriously furnished with an enclosed private garden, it's situated on the edge of a medieval Tuscan village.

Inside the villa, on the 1st floor, three bedrooms, each with a balcony, lovely views, highly comfortable beds, memory foam cool mattresses, beautiful white linen, and tasteful furniture, were carefully chosen to give each room individuality and space. White bath towels and spa robes are provided. Four bathrooms 2 are en-suite, all with quality fittings, Carrara marble tiles and heated towel rails.

The modern kitchen on the ground floor is equipped with everything you will require to make a fabulous Italian feast. The dining area with a large oak table seats 10; off the kitchen, through the patio doors, you can dine on the shaded terrace with a large black granite table overlooking the garden.

On the lower ground level is the very comfortably furnished sitting room with a massive log fire and glass door, logs provided. Two sofas and two armchairs comfortably seat eight. Smart TV, 50 MB internet connection. There is a shower room on this level and a utility which houses the washing machine.

Heated pool 9.5 x 4 x 1.5m with large travertine and decking surround, the hydro massage spa with 76 jets has seating for five and includes two chaise-Longue.

The outdoor kitchen comprises gas and wood-fired BBQs, a Smoker, Wood fired pizza oven, a fridge, a sink and workstation, and a bar with stools; next to the outdoor kitchen is the loggia which offers shaded dining. The fire pit has comfortable seating to enjoy cosy evenings watching the stars and wildlife that roam the forest.

Beautiful lawns surround the Villa. Beyond are olive terraces and forest.

Villa Ariola stands proud above all in the Tuscan village of Irola di Sopra, near Villafranca in Lunigiana, a little-known panoramic medieval hill village.

The Tuscan National Park is a paradise for walkers and country lovers; at dawn and dusk, it is possible to glimpse deer and wild boar as they venture from cover in search of food or watch eagles and other rare birds as they soar above the hills and down the valleys.

The nearest town is Villafranca, just a 10-minute drive away, with good restaurants, supermarkets, bars, shops, and banks. A thriving market visits Villafranca on Friday & Pontremoli Wednesday and Saturday, mostly food stall's you will find a good selection of excellent locally produced fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese and salami. There are several beaches and the major attractions of Tuscany, all within driving distance. Our guide for guests recommends local restaurants and vineyards.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Lynn and Bill (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lynn and Bill (the owner) a message.

If Lynn and Bill (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
