Location description from owner

The England region

A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Ironbridge

Ironbridge Gorge is known throughout the world as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and is a now a maze of footpaths and country lanes whilst the delightful village is famous for being home of the world's first iron-built bridge. The village has a splendid variety of pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms and a collection of ten museums. Ironbridge is a wonderful base from which to explore the beautiful county of Shropshire.
