Located on a small hill overlooking Paunch Beach, one of the top surf beaches in Bocas, this beautiful, rustic cabin is part of a new, small B&B called Surf Break at Paunch. Here you can wake up to the sounds of Howler Monkeys and tropical birds and fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean from the nearby surf.

When you visit us, not only are you visiting an amazing tropical paradise with tons of unique wildlife, beautiful plants and landscapes, but also an epic surf spot right at our front door…with more amazing beaches (for both swimming and surfing) just a short walk, bike or boat ride away!

Located at one of the best surf spots in Bocas Del Toro - you can ride a wave right across the street at Paunch Beach or go to nearby Tiger Tail or Bluff Beach (10 min car ride, 20 min bike ride away). To the left and right of us there are areas of the beach that are swimmable and tend to be great for relaxing away from the crowds of the more “popular” beaches in Bocas. There are three other bar & restaurants within 5-10 minute walking distance and we are only a 15 minute car ride/20-30 minute bike ride to the main part of Bocas Town.

The cabin comes equipped hand made custom bed, queen sized gel memory foam mattress and extra comfy pillows. We also provide additional convenience items such as small flash lights (as some part of town are dark/unlit), beach towels, free use of our bikes, free WiFi, free breakfast, quality linens, fans, lap top sized room safe, and a huge hot water stand up shower in an open air style bathroom with large windows that let the light, breeze and jungle sounds in.

If you need more space (for another 2 guests), we have another studio apartment style room in the main cabin house for rent with a kitchenette. Rent both and you'll basically have the entire place to yourselves (well, other than us)! Just look for our other listing, ID #7113927.

When you check in, we will do a quick walk through with you, provide you with keys and set you up with bicycles (provided free of charge for our guests). We live on the property and are available everyday until 11am at least (some days later when our restaurant is open). When we are not on property, we are still available by cell phone.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
