This Charming, 2 Bedroom Home is Located in the Pretty, Colonial Town of Izamal, Yucatan. The house is situated in a tropical garden surrounded by pretty, natural stone walls that provide both privacy and security. Relax in the palapa patio in the middle of the garden and watch the many types of Yucatecan birds flying from tree to tree or sit on the covered patio located off of the main bedroom with another set of table and chairs. Both patios have ceiling fans for keeping cool on hot days.The main bedroom is large with windows to catch the breezes with A/C for warm nights. The smaller of the 2 bedrooms is located at the back of the house for additional privacy and has a ceiling fan for cool comfort. The eat in kitchen is fully equipped with a table and 4 chairs, full size fridge, 6 burner gas stove, coffee machine, toaster, all dishes and pots and pans and more. The living room is cute with a sofa and 2 chairs to put your feet up. The bathroom has a hot water shower, sink and toilet. The property does have 110 V. As the property is located only a few blocks to Centro Izamal it is within walking distance to all amenities and the 2 central parks of Izamal. There are small grocery stores, bakeries, an art gallery and small restaurants in the neighborhood. There is a large market in Centro Izamal where you can purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, clothing, food stands and much more. There are restaurants situated around Izamal that serve Yucatecan food as well as a selection of international-type food. Visit Izamal's ancient convent built in the 1500;s or our very own pyramids located right in town. Travel by horse and buggy and take a tour of our quaint town or rent bicycles and see parts of Izamal that many tourists do not see. Izamal also has several regular taxi companies and 2 bus stations to venture out from Izamal and visit other colonial cities such as Merida, Valladolid. As Izamal is centrally located in the Yucatan, it is close to many archeological sites, Mayan villages, Cenotes or you may want to take a trip to the gulf beaches north or west of Izamal or to the Caribbean beaches on the East Coast to bask in the sun and cool off in the water.
