From the owner

Ulle Gorri Baserria is an old farmhouse of Alava style, located in a privileged enclave in the Basque Country. It is surrounded by a beautiful sea of green meadows throughout the year, in the foothills of the mythical Monte Gorbeia, near the beech forest of Altube and the Gujuli waterfall and is also the closest accommodation to the Salto del Nervión. In addition to the specific regulations on rural house protection, we have obtained the SICTED tourism quality commitment certification and we are in the process of obtaining the Ecolabel certification, from the European Union as sustainable accommodation. The farmhouse is rented in its entirety or partially from 1 to 5 rooms depending on availability. The house has been restored recovering original antique materials, terrazzo floor and doors of an old tower house of the area and restored antique furniture, providing the house with a unique personality that falls in love with those who visit us. It has a large living room with fireplace, a beautiful kitchen and 5 double rooms with 4 bathrooms distributed over two floors. On the lower floor there is a room with a double bed and an integrated bathroom. On the upper floor a suite with double bed, bathroom and a small hall, a room with two single beds with bathroom and two double rooms with two single beds that share a bathroom. Both the interior of the house, as the outdoor area that has a field with fruit trees and flower garden, is equipped to allow a rest to our mind and body and to enjoy what surrounds us without stress: mini music chain , with a selection of CDs, books, magazines, maps and tourist information of the area. The Art also has its space in Ulle Gorri, with several works by different artists from the MH Art Gallery in Bilbao and we hope you enjoy during your stay with us. TV and free wifi. There is also an outdoor parking area with capacity for up to 4 vehicles. Etxea is not adapted to people with reduced mobility, although we have special ramps that allow access to the interior of the same with a wheelchair. Kitchen equipment: crockery and cutlery for more than 14 people, wine glasses, water glasses and children's cups, children's cutlery, toaster, microwave, ceramic hob, oven, 1 fridge and a large fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher , Italian coffee maker and filter, kettle (kettle), juice squeezer, blender-chopper, grater, pressure cooker, clay pots, table linen, paper napkins, cake mold. Cleaning products included (manual dishwashers, dishwasher tablets, scourers, cloth and kitchen towels). Bed and bath linen, hair dryer. Iron and iron board. In the bathroom you will find bath gel and shampoo of family format, natural soap and toilet paper. Wifi by satellite, TV and stereo, books, magazines and CDs and board games. To cook outdoors (ask when you arrive): Paella for 15, gas ring for paella, barbecue and butane.
