La Posada de los Sentidos es una casa rural en Jarandilla de la Vera para disfrutar del turismo rural en Cáceres y Extremadura. Un alojamiento rural con piscina para reservar por habitaciones o en su totalidad.

La Posada de los Sentidos fue un antigua casa convento que fundo San Francisco de Borja. Construida durante el S.XVI, en piedra, madera y adobe con más de 350 m2, distribuida en cinco habitaciones, bodega, cocina, sala de estar. Reformada con las mismas técnicas y materiales originales por el diseñador de interiores Javier Faura Salvador.

Una casa alegre y muy acogedora. Puede alojar a cinco familias o grupos de amigos que quieran vivir una experiencia única en la comarca de la Vera, en un entorno natural autentico.

Aquel cuya principal motivación para viajar es disfrutar de la comida en el destino, los productos Extremeños son los elementos fundamentales de nuestra gastronomía, pero hay otros, atmosfera, decoración, ambientación, relación fluida entre cocinero y turista. La Posada de los Sentidos propone ofrecer nuevos servicios y actividades de calidad para atraer turistas, conviviendo en armonía con nuestras habitaciones para alojar a nuestros huéspedes, en un mercado emergente como el turismo experimental.

La cocina de la Posada de los Sentidos pondrá el acento en prestigiar los productos de Extremadura elevándolos a la categoría de estrellas de la carta, sencilla y sin complicaciones. Derivados del Cerdo Ibérico Puro acogido a la denominación de origen protegida como Jamones, Paletas, Lomos y embutidos con los tradicionales cortes cárnicos como presas, plumas y secretos. Las mejores carnes de las terneras y corderos extremeños, tortas del casar, de la serena e Ibores. Aceites de Gata-Hurdes y Monterrubio. Pimentón de la Vera, miel de las Villuercas y las sabrosas cerezas del Valle del Jerte y de la Vera. La cocina de antes para los tiempos de ahora o el reencuentro con los sabores de siempre.

Estos productos se comercializan en la Posada de los Sentidos, tanto para su venta como para su degustación, en el formato idóneo.

Una pieza clave: conectar con la cultura local de forma más experiencial y participativa, colaboración agrícolas, ganaderos y los chefs. Buscar productos locales (de calidad) y que se apoyen en el patrimonio cultural del destino, y que hagan los lugares más sostenibles.

Jarandilla de la Vera, en pleno centro de la comarca de la Vera, rodeado de cerezos, robles, olivos, almendros, próximo al monasterio de Yuste, construido por el Emperador Carlos V para su descaso y pasar el final de sus días.

Naturaleza, paisajes, lagos, puestas de sol, excursiones y paseos a caballo. Pueblos, iglesias y construcciones conservadas con encanto que han visto pasar los siglos.

Gastronomía; torta del casar, embutidos, jamones, migas, calderetas y guisos típicos, con elaboraciones de la nueva cocina emergente extremeña, muy cuidada por el buen hacer de los restauradores. En un marco incomparable que no querrás abandonar. Totalmente equipada y decorada con sencillez y en armonía con su entorno.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
