Fine restaurants, outdoor activities like swimming, biking, rafting, small unique shops, art galleries- Jim Thorpe has it all. This is a family friendly town with lots to do in the area. Only hours from Philadelphia and New York it is not difficult to get to.

Close to lots of fun things to do in town.: This house is located right in Jim Thorpe on the main street, but with off-street parking so you don't have to worry about finding a spot for your car. Minutes from the varied restaurants of Jim Thorpe, you have a choice to cook your self in our full equipped kitchen or go out for a delicious dinner cooked by someone else. It is a 15 minute walk to the downtown shops and museums of Jim Thorpe.

It may not be the most impressive house available but it is clean, comfortable and affordable for your group or family. And we live next door and will do our very best to make sure you have a good vacation here in our lovely town.

Or get into the great outdoors.: Just 3 miles by car is Mauch Chunk Lake with swimming and a lovely beach, boating and fishing on the lake, and hiking around the lake. This lake is enjoyable in all seasons. Or jump on your bicycle and join up with the Switchback Trail just minutes from the property. Rafting is available down on the Lehigh River which runs right through the heart of Jim Thorpe. Or take a hike to Glen Onoko, a short drive from town and the property where you will stay. In winter we are just a short drive from 3 ski areas- Blue Mountain, Jack Frost, or Big Boulder. And if you want to see the lovely leaves in the fall they are all around in whatever direction you might turn.

Why can't I call Jennifer (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jennifer (the owner) a message.

If Jennifer (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
