Originally a 19th-century mercantile building that served as a bustling bakery shop, this townhouse preserves its historic ambiance while boasting carefully preserved period details. Admire the artesian woodwork, marvel at the original wood staircase, and bask in the warmth provided by the cast iron radiators.

Recent renovations have breathed new life into this gem, with upgrades that include tall windows offering picturesque views of the street, gleaming hardwood floors, and freshly painted rooms that exude a sense of warmth and tranquility.

Guests at Glen Onoko Guesthouse enjoy exclusive access to the primary residence, which spans approximately 1,600 square feet across the top two floors, just as the shopkeepers of the past did when they resided above their businesses.

In addition to the charming interior, guests are welcome to use the private courtyard, complete with a lush shrubbery border and a convenient BBQ grill for outdoor gatherings and al fresco dining.

The entrance to the guesthouse is located at the back of the building, ensuring privacy and ease of unpacking. A dedicated private parking area is provided, adding to the convenience of your stay.

Inside the guesthouse, two sets of stairs lead to the main living area on the second floor, where you'll find a spacious and inviting space to relax and unwind. The bedrooms are situated on an additional floor, offering privacy and comfort. With a bathroom on each floor, convenience is at your fingertips.

For your laundry needs, there is a shared laundry room located on the first floor, allowing you to freshen up your clothes during your stay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Dee (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
