Just five minutes down a State Scenic Road from world-famous music venue Pappy and Harriet's Pioneertown Palace, and amidst spectacular vistas at 4,400 feet, nestled in the foothills of the Big Bear Mountains is the undiscovered gem called Pipes Canyon and High Desert Eden. Adjoining 33,000 acres of Wildlands Conservancy, our gorgeous solar and wind-powered Southwest casita is a refuge of quiet serenity.

High Desert Eden's 22 acres is surrounded by a panorama of rare flat-topped mesas, jagged peaks and giant boulders. It delights the senses with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and the Milky Way on display virtually every night.

Our luxurious casita with plush furnishings and stunning vistas from every window will delight you senses and soothe your soul.

We enjoy four seasons here, each with its own distinct pleasures; spring with its unmatched wildflower bloom; summer (20 degrees cooler than Palm Springs, 10 degrees cooler than Joshua Tree) with maximum greenery and balmy, star-filled nights; autumn's crisp days and changing colors; and snow for a fantasy winter holiday. We are located 2 hours east of Los Angeles and a convenient, scenic 45-minute drive from Palm Springs International Airport. Historic Pioneertown is minutes away.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Max (the owner) a message.

If Max (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
