Enjoy a relaxing retreat in a cozy, modern Guest House located in south Joshua Tree. The Guest House is open and airy 1000 square foot open and airy structure on a private 4+ acre gated property with beautiful north facing sunset views. A carport in front of the Guest House provides a shady parking spot for your car.

The bedroom area has a queen sized bed and newly remodeled bathroom with shower. On the other side of the studio there are two twin size beds that can be set up separately or also be pushed together for a Cal King size if needed. The twin beds incorporate electric adjustment to raise the head and/or foot independently and are great for reading or computer work.

The living room area has a super comfy down-filled mid-century couch and ottoman in front of the fireplace. There is a stereo, CD & DVD player, turntable, and AirPort Express with AirPlay for wireless connection to your Apple IOS music player, and television complete with cable in the living area for your modern entertainment needs! A selection of CDs, DVDs, records, and books are provided for your use during your stay.

Enjoy our cute newly added kitchen fully stocked with plates, flatware, glassware and staples and a charcoal BBQ for meal preparation. The kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, air popcorn popper, hand mixer, blender, food processor, and a full complement of pots, pans, and utensils.

There is a private patio with with table and chairs and a fire-pit that faces north and features beautiful views - especially great for star gazing at night! We just installed a Jacuzzi J-LXL hot tub with lounge seat on a slab just a few steps off the patio. The location is private and sits amongst Joshua Trees and desert flora and offers panoramic views of the sunset, surrounding mountains, city lights, and amazing stars at night. There are 2 hammocks for lounging under a large shade tree next to the carport where you can park your car under cover.

We have had nothing but positive reviews of the Guest House and are confident that you will love it too!

For larger groups please check out the Main House under Joshua Tree Mid-Century Retreat which is located on the same property. We often rent both the Guest House and Main House together but if you think this fits your requirements please let us know as early as possible so that we can insure availability of both.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mark (the owner) a message.

If Mark (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
