When staying at Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island’s west coast, you’ll feel as if you’re stepping back in time to a simpler, unspoiled era. The resort is designed to re-create the charming island ambiance found back in the ’30s, while still assuring you all the comfortable amenities and activities you expect in a modern-day tropical resort.

The 2 bedroom - 2 bath condo is 1,156 square feet in size. Each of the 2 bedrooms have a king size bed. The living room has a queen size sofa sleeper. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen and washer/ dryer. Enjoy your morning breakfast on the patio or balcony.

The name provided will need to be the name of the person responsible for checking into the condo. The name on the reservation with be the only one allowed to check in with the resort front desk. We can put up to two names on the guest confirmation and the rest of the guest can be added at check in. ANY CHANGES TO THE GUEST CONFIRMATION ONCE CONFIRMED REQUIRES A $129.00 CHANGE FEE.

The resort does require a refundable security deposit at check in of $250.00. The security deposit is refunded to you upon check out. Also, the Kona Hawaiian does collect a Hawaii state occupancy tax of $13.47 per day that is paid directly to the resort.

Wireless Internet is free for up to 4 devices, ideal for emails and basic web browsing. For more streaming and surfing options on unlimited devices, Enhanced High-Speed Wireless Internet is available for $9.95 per day, $49.95 for 6-10 days, and $59.95 for 11-30 days.

Kona Hawaiian Resort Community Rules:

REGISTERED GUESTS

• A maximum of six (6) guests (including children) can be registered to each unit

• Pool areas are only for registered guests to enjoy

• You agree to be responsible for the conduct of all children under 18 years of age in your party

PARKING RESTRICTIONS

• One (1) vehicle is permitted at the designated parking areas per unit

• Any additional vehicle(s) must be registered and parked at the Lobby and Lower parking lots

• Parking on roadways or the grass is NOT permitted. If your vehicle is parked in a non-permitted area, you run the risk of your vehicle being towed at your expense

NO PARTY POLICY

• Quiet Time 10PM – 7AM

• If a noise complaint is raised, all unregistered guests are required to vacate

• If a 2nd noise complaint is raised, all registered and unregistered guests are required to vacate

NO PETS/NO SMOKING/NO VAPING

• Smoking or vaping OF TOBACCO OR ANY OTHER PLANT MATERIAL is not allowed in guest units/lanais, and is permitted ONLY in designated Smoking Areas

• Pets are not allowed at the resort (other than service animals)

• Any violation of the Smoking/Pet Policies will result in a $250 fee for any damages or additional cleaning

OTHERS

• Towels, bathing suits, or any other items are not to be hung or draped over railings or lanai furniture

• Skateboards, rollerblades, and drones are not permitted on the resort premises

Any violation of Guest Rules and Regulations may result in the eviction without any refund.

• CHECK-IN: All guests must check in at Club Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort 75-5961 Alii Drive, Kailua-Kona, Big Island, Hawaii 96740 United States.

• Check-in: 4pm

• Check-out: 10am

• You must be at least 21 years of age to check in and register for a room.

• A valid government-issued identification and major credit card matching the name of the primary guest on the reservation is required at check-in. A $250 security deposit (per stay) in addition to any remaining balance is due at the time of check-in. The security deposit will be released upon check-out and can take up to 7-14 business days to reflect in your account.

• The resort accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. Pre-paid cards, checks and credit card authorization forms are not accepted.

• Pets are not permitted.

• Daily housekeeping is available at an additional charge.

• No shows and early departures will not receive a refund. The entire balance (100%) will be forfeited.

• You expressly understand and agree that the resort may charge your credit card for any violation of the resort’s Rules and Regulations, including but not limited to violations of the smoking and pet policies and any damages to your room or the resort caused by you or your guests. Any violation of the resort’s Rules and Regulations may result in additional fines and penalties, including but not limited to the right to remove you and your guests from the resort premises without a refund.

How do damage deposits work?
