Sleeps 4. 2 bedroom apartment with shared pool. Situated in the hillside above the magical harbour town of Kalkan - the gem of Turkey's Turquoise coast. Full of tempting shops, roof terrace restaurants and bars. Wonderful views over the bays from the terrace. Shared pool and landscaped grounds.

Zehra is a stylish apartment located on the first floor of a small development perched on a hillside with wonderful views over Kalkan and Kalamar bays. The large shared pool and sun deck enjoys an all day sun aspect. Each apartment has its own sunbeds and parasols for guest use. The grounds are well maintained and there is 24 hour security. The town and harbour are an easy 10 minute walk along the Kalamar road. Winding cobbled streets, excellent shops and harbour side or roof terrace restaurants and bars combine with stunning views - whether to the mountains behind or across the harbour to the broad sweep of the Mediterranean - you will never tire of this view!

Zehra is furnished to a very comfortable standard in a Mediterranean style and is part of a recently built small development of 15 apartments and 2 villas all privately owned. The development has been sympathetically designed in stone with pretty old marble walkways bordered by shrubs and flowers around the large swimming pool.

Air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, hairdryers, bed side tables and dressing table with mirror to both rooms. Safe deposit box.

En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 is fully tiled with shower, WC and basin.

Large separate bathroom also fully tiled with shower/wet room, WC and basin.

Shaver points and mirrors to both bathrooms.

Fully fitted kitchen (extended beyond original developer's spec) providing extensive cupboard space, work surfaces and wine rack. Fridge/freezer, electric oven, 4 ring gas hob, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. Excellent range of china, dishes and cutlery.

Outside store (under stairs) with washing machine, iron and ironing board, hot water heater, barbecues, cool bag and extra fold up wooden table.

Bright open plan Reception area with fabulous sea views. Two double sofas with cushions, coffee table, console and butler's tables, Sultan's stool, stylish drift wood lamps and wall prints. Air conditioning. CD player and radio.

Large fully furnished terrace with fabulous views over the bays. It is partly covered and enjoys an all day sun aspect. Dining table and 4 wrought iron chairs, relaxer chairs, large parasol. Beautiful bougainvillae and tree planters ensuring privacy.

Bed linen and towels are included and changed twice weekly when a full clean by the maid service takes place. All refuse and other Bins are emptied daily. Beach towels and tea towels are included and Zehra is well stocked with all cleaning accessories.

Zehra is one of two properties we own on the development. We have fallen in love with Kalkan and visit frequently. This ensures that the highest standard is maintained at all times. The property also benefits from 24 hour attendance by on site staff.

The Saneil complex also benefits from a standby generator - great if there is a power cut! Families with children are welcome although Zehra is not equipped for children under 3 years old. Smoking is only permitted outside on the terrace. A welcome pack is provided on arrival. Zehra has a private entrance overlooking an Olive grove and is set slightly away from the pool benefiting bookworms and sun lovers looking for a quieter retreat.

The development is built on a hillside with external steps to get to sun deck level and also apartment level. As such it is not suitable for those with limited mobility.Large shared pool and sun deck terrace shared by the 15 apartments. Small toddler pool at one end. Fresh water showers. Palm tree centre piece and the whole terrace is decked with pot planters and a shrub border. There are both male and female toilets located off Reception below the sun terrace.

Kalkan town centre is 10 minutes away - an easy walk into town for shopping during the day and bars/restaurants at night - then a taxi back! There are many historical sites closeby - Patara, Tlsos, Letoon and Xanthos - and Kalkan itself is on the Lycian Way. The larger towns of Kas (30 minutes) and Fethiye (60 minutes) provide days out as does the very popular Saklikent gorge.

Kalkan is a small harbour town set in a bay with stunning sea views and mountain backdrops. The town has many restaurants, bars and shops that throng with life on warm summer evenings. The hospitality of the Turks is truly legendary. You can relax by the harbour side and watch the many wooden Gulets come and go - or hire one and spend a lazy day at sea visiting all the local bays - glorious!
