From the owner

Situated some 200 metres up from the waters edge in the fashionable Kömurluk area of Kalkan is this 5 bedroom (all en suite) fully serviced luxury villa with an additional en suite double room located below the private pool. Just 10 minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and harbour of central Kalkan, the villa is conveniently located whilst offering a degree of privacy, exclusivity and superb direct sea and harbour views from its impressive terraces. The policy of the villa owners is to reinvest regularly in decor and facilities to ensure the property remains fully up to date. The owners and their family regularly use the villa which is more like a luxurious sea side home than the usual holiday rental!

Each of the 5 bedrooms on site has a luxurious en suite shower and WC , air conditioning as well as ceiling fans in the main house. The stunning master bedroom suite has completely uninterrupted views across Kalkan bay from the Super King size bed, and direct access on to a spectacular balcony. Two further en suite double bedrooms (one ground floor) each also have sea views and super king size double beds. The fourth en suite bedroom has two single beds, providing flexibility for families. A further luxurious super king size bedded en suite is located in a private location below the sun terrace, accessed by a private staircase and with its own spectacular sea views. An ideal room for a couple wanting some night time privacy from the main house, but not suitable for young children due to the extra stairs.

Downstairs in the main villa is a spacious through lounge/ kitchen dining area looking out to the sea. The very contemporary kitchen area has all Bosch appliances and is generously stocked with all utensils. The lounge area is also contemporary, with flat screen TV/DVD, and I-Pod dock system and Wi-Fi internet access. Floors throughout the villa are in cool white marble.

It is the outside space in Kalkan which is the most important and Villa Kumanluk does not disappoint. Large sun patios in polished travertine offer uninterrupted views across the bay and its ever changing vista : as good as any in the whole of Kalkan. The private swimming pool is just a step away for cooling off and a large covered open sun lounge, and plenty of sun umbrellas are ready to protect those with more sensitive skins. Outside dining is in the shade of a spacious canopied pergola with a choice of gas or charcoal barbecues as well as the kitchen oven and hob. The property is completely enclosed by its walled garden on the land side, and offers a good degree of privacy considering its proximity to town.

Villa Kumanluk is serviced by a local team who provide 'meet and greet', daily rubbish removal, mid week bed linen and interior towel change. Swimming towels are also provided on a weekly basis.

Transfers to and from Dalaman Airport will be arranged by the owner on request ( paid locally) and other advice provided to assist your holiday enjoyment. You do not need a hire car to enjoy this property ( though one is easy to arrange if required).

How do damage deposits work?

If Simon (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
