AndamanSeaview5 is a private holiday apartment with a commanding seaview that is occasionally let out to couples and small families who wish to have the feeling of a home away from home.

The property, called The Plantation, is a striking Mediterranean-style condominium situated on a large hill overlooking the Andaman Sea in an exclusive part of Kamala beach. With a total area of 239 sqm, the apartment is generously-sized, sunny and bright. The glass sliding doors to the verandah disappear into wall pockets, creating a sense of openness and light. The spacious verandah has a large, shaded portion and a larger portion open to the sky, ideal for entertaining, sunbathing in loungers with a favorite book, watching the sea from dawn to dusk and beyond, or simply star-gazing late into night. It is a safe space for small children and toddlers to be on their own.

The open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen take full advantage of the spectacular, uninterrupted sea views, as do all bedrooms. There are two bedrooms with well-appointed en-suite bathrooms.The master bedroom has an outside terrace area with a private hot/cold-water bathtub for two. The study serves as a third bedroom, as it has a queen sized leather sleep sofa, as well as an attached half-bathroom.

The apartment is fully air-conditioned, and furnished with modern indoor and outdoor furniture, and linens. Cable TV subscription is optional.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric range, dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, coffee-maker and refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans, flat-ware and utensils.

There is a separate laundry room with a washer and a drier. Maid Service is provided once a week to clean and change linens. Additional service may be available upon request.

Common facilities include a long swimming pool ideal for laps, with an enormous deck, a gym with state-of-the-art equipment, and a lounge with wi-fi. There are three "salas" (gazebos) near the pool, and covered private parking -all set in landscaped private surroundings and meticulously maintained by an internationally-known property management company. The management office is open seven days a week and security staff is on duty 24/7.

The beach across the road is good for walks, watching the sunset over a drink and for children to play in the sand. The larger Kamala Beach is a kilometer away and has all the tourist facilities and activities, yet is family-oriented. Soft sand, swimming, water sports, sunbathing, restaurants, local boats. There are grocery stores, banks, pharmacies, and other conveniences. The village of Kamala on the other side of the road from Kamala beach is a quiet community of pretty houses and narrow lanes nestled among hills.

Kamala is about half way down the length of Phuket Island, on the more desirable west coast where most of the recreational facilities are located.
