Aqua Dunhinda is a luxury 3 bedroom villa situated in the city of Gampola which is less than 15 Km from Kandy. The Villa is an unique luxury experience set in a magnificent natural environment. Our Villa is set on a 3-acres property, built on top of a cliff and nestled in a tea garden that provides a panoramic view of the forest, mountain and the river.

The location provides easy access to various places of interest including the UNESCO world heritage site - the Sacred City of Kandy, the tea capital of the world – Nuwara Eliya (50 km), Pinnawala Elephant Sanctuary (30 km) and many other attractions in the vicinity. The Villa is located 120km from the Colombo International Airport.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property. A TV is featured. Free private parking is also available at this villa. Bike hire and car hire are available at the property and the area is popular for hiking, Yoga and bird watching

Guests have the option of picking their choice of meals based on 3 menus: Sri Lankan, Western and Health-Conscious. At Aqua Dunhinda, we aspire to source most of the vegetables and greens from our home garden or that is locally grown.

The Villa is equipped with all necessary modern day comforts including cable TV, DVD player, stereo, fridge, hot water and air conditioning. Service is just a bell ring away 24/7. Once you check-in, all your needs will be looked after by the Villa Manager, Personal Butler and Cook.

The 3 bedrooms have queen size beds and the rooms at the villa come with all modern amenities and the luxuries you could ask for.

Stepping out of the verandah, you will be surrounded by the tea garden, tropical fruit trees and indigenous plants. In the early morning and late evening you will be serenaded by a variety of birds, some migrating from faraway lands. There are a number of natural rocks in the garden upon which you may sit and watch the breath taking view of the flowing river.

Why can't I call Prashan (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Prashan (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Prashan (the owner) a message.

If Prashan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
