Standing proudly on the hilltop of the tiny village of Platystoma,in the cetral highlands of the island, the elegant mill is a carefully restored place, still possesing the good energy of people who were working there for life’s bare essentials for more than a century.

The mill is situated in 2000 sq.m. of private land.

With its breathtaking , unlimited view of the complex of miniscule islands, known as the Greek Polynesia (and in which Scorpios and Meganisi are included), the elegant mill is a fairy-tale , yet alternative holiday destination, with guaranteed absolute privacy.

The ground floor, contains a functional kitchen, while the first and top floors are transformed into cozy bedrooms. The bathroom and a second fully operational kitchen with big BBQ, are situated just outside the mill.

A 45 sq.m. studio with private bathroom is located next to the open air kitchen. The infinity pool , facing the aforementioned spectacular view of the greek Polynesia, is situated on the studio’s east side and the mill’s south. In the mill’s garden, there are various seating places for your breakfast, lunch or dinner or just relaxing .

The elegant mill is ideally located on the centre of the island , 15 km from the town of Lefkas, only 2 km away from the village of Karya- where you can find tavernas , mini markets, bars, pharmacies and cafeterias- and 15 to 30 min by car from practically every beach of the island, through a very good asphalt road network.

The elegant mill sleeps 4 & measures approx. 62 sq.m in three levels.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Thomas (the owner) a message.

If Thomas (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
