From the owner

This pleasant house is home to a Javanese Kampung located approximately 10 minutes away from the City's center. Its village setting with long evenings on the veranda with the sound of Gamelan and crickets in the distance will make it memorable. This village is a place for travel seekers that enjoy an easy going environment.

Once you have rented this home, it is your private residence till the end of your stay. We do kindly ask to treat the house as if your own. It offers three air-conditioned sleeping rooms (king size, queen size, 2 single beds and a baby cot is available), two bathrooms, one is acquired in a sleeping room with a shower and toilet and another is a separate bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The open kitchen offers the basic necessities to cook with a fridge, fire stove, cutlery etc. We also provide mineral water as well as tea and coffee. The living room includes a large Teak dining table and a lounging area making it a pleasant space to enjoy with families and friends. The veranda is our personal favorite outdoor space with the view of the garden and mango trees (if in season please have a taste!). The garden has a sunbed and sun lounger for those who like to bathe in the warmth of the sun. If visiting with kids we can put up a plastic swimming pool.

WIFI and Cable TV is keeping you connected to the world. The house has speakers that can connect to your IPod or phone. We can arrange breakfast with an additional charge. Cars can be parked inside the property gate.

Vega will be happy to assist being your source of information during your stay . Yogyakarta greater area offers quite some great and exciting outdoor activities like: Rafting, Caving, Tubing, nature walks, hiking even the Merapi volcano. Also visits to Temples like the Prambanan and The Borobudur Temple are within an hour distance. For guests who have traveled to Java for a healing journey we can also help you connect to a diverse range of treatments like; massage, heart meditation sessions, Reiki sessions, Yoga, Life coaching etc. If you came to get a cultural shower and some insight in tradition: Vega has a big love for Indonesian history and can share stories if you are interested. He can further help you with the rental of motorbikes and/or cars. Transport is recommended due to the distance to the city center (restaurants, cafes etc.) though taxis are able to find their way to the residence too.

Why can't I call Gerry Rangga (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to view all your booking details, pay the balance of your holiday or cancel it if you need to.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

You can pay the remaining balance of your holiday at any point. Simply go to Manage my holiday booking and click Pay now.

We’ll automatically charge the balance payment to the same payment method 10 days before it’s due. Go to Manage my holiday booking to see when the payment will be taken.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Gerry Rangga (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gerry Rangga (the owner) a message.

If Gerry Rangga (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
