Kastellos is a delightful, traditional village in the heart of Crete, strategical place to explore the wonderful, big island of Crete. Enjoying a unique, direct environment of excellent climate. The property is set at the side of the village, with marvelous views across the rooftops of Armeni village and away across the valley to the mountains. Staying here, one can feel the natural tranquillity as the scene is completed by the clear, transparent atmosphere and the sounds of nature. Watching the mountain turning purple during sunset and the moon rising over the valley is an unforgettable experience.

The villa can accommodate 8 people in an area of 200m2, with 4 bedrooms with no doors, rooms that come one from the other, following the primary shape of the house with respect of its original architectural style before the total renovation in 2003. There are also 2 bathrooms one with jacuzzi. The house is very ample and has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room with fireplace. TV with DVD/home cinema and CD player is provided.

The house hosts original works of art by the owner, as well as many other artists, Greeks and foreigners.

For our young friends (...and adults), you'll find toys, games, books, music and movies. In italian, english and greek language. The house is not the best place for babes under 2 years old because of its layers ad stairs, but upon request we can provide all necessary.

Outside there is a big private garden, with parking place and relax areas. There is a garden area with local vegetables and plants that the hosts can use for cooking. There is also a BBQ area with all it needs. Privete balconies are in all rooms, with a stunning view to the hills.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    How do I edit my booking?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Evi (the owner) a message.

    If Evi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
