From the owner

A cozy new house build in traditional way on the top of a hill of Kea island (called also Tzia), surrounded by 10.000 m2 land, overlooking the sea from one side and the main village of Ioulis (Kea) from the other. In the area there are 4-5 other houses belonging to local families.

The house is 100 m2 in total. The main house on the first level has an open kitchen with dining and sitting area, two bedrooms (with double beds) and a bathroom, surrounded by large terraces. There is also a place for breakfast and lunch under a big oak tree with a view to the sea.

The- independent- third bedroom - with A/C -is situated on the ground level and has a private w.C and shower, accommodates two persons. There is also a third shower situated outdoor.

The house is only 5 km away from the port and around 10 km from the main town Ioulis. There is also a path leading to Ioulis which is around half an hour walking distance. On the island there are several signed paths, some of them old (since ancient times). One of the most well known and beautiful is the path leading to the Karthea ancient city.

The nearest beach is Yialiskari around 4.5 km away, but there are plenty beautiful beaches around the island.

You'll find super markets, pharmacy, taverns and bars on the port, the main village and the other villages as well.

There is public transportation from the port to the main town Ioulis, and taxis, but it's necessary to rent a car to go to the beaches and visit the island.You can rent a car (or a motor bike) either at the Athens International Airport or at the island .

The Roukounas Hill, (Fotimari) as is the name of the location is a peaceful place where you can rest, surrounded by beautiful landscape, overlooking the sea, away from the busy port or the main town, where you can also combine night life in the nearby Vourkari and/or Ioulis or the port.

The location (and the house) is also an ideal place for relaxation and intellectual work.

How do damage deposits work?
