The space

This guesthouse features a kitchen, dining area, sitting area with walkout to patio, 3-piece bathroom with claw foot tub, a realistic warm and inviting propane stove and two cozy upstairs bedrooms that sleep five!

Be inspired as you explore the many lovely nooks and crannies: mindfulness conversation areas, tranquil gardens, healing and cleansing forest…many delightful spaces to explore!

Guests will be provided a key upon their arrival. This cottage is a stand alone building and has private access for guests. You have the freedom to move around and explore the property at you leisure.

Interaction with guests

Our family home is located on this property and we are available as needed. We prefer to be on-hand for the pizza oven preparation as it takes a few hours to get the fire burning hot enough to heat the oven.

Other things to note

We live in the country, surrounded by forests and therefore tend to have bugs in and out of the cottage! You are visiting a rustic cottage and not a pristine Chalet! We are telling you this because we know we give value for your stay and want you to have a realistic expectation of your calm, tranquil Dashta Retreat!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Audrey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
