From the owner

Thirteen thick arches, wooden beams, stone stairs and patterned floor tiles. This comfortable farmhouse is ideal for more than one family or a group of friends (sleeps 14 persons). On the ground floor, one finds a hall, two bedrooms ensuite, another bedroom and a seperate shower. From the hall one can reach the first floor through an original flight of stairs made of Maltese stone and the railing is made of wrought iron, typical of traditional Maltese houses. The garden at the far end of the ground floor gives seperate access to the deck area. First floor consists of a large lounge with cable TV and fireplace, a spacious kitchen, two bedrooms a bathroom, shower, large patio (29sq m.) with garden furniture, extensive pool area for sunbathing (69.5 sq m) pool (10.5m x 4.3m), jacuzzi with diameter 2.3m and barbeque area (24sqm). The lounge and kitchen both overlook the pool.

The farmhouse is fully air-conditioned (prepaid by means of a coin meter) to ensure stable temperatures. This is most relevant during the winter times where humidity levels on the Maltese islands push up the feeling of cold spells by a couple of notches and during summer time when temperatures hover between 33 - 38 degree Celsius.

A self-catering accomodation ideal for family holidays and for those wishing to escape from it all.

Dear Kurt Thank you for your positive comments as well as for the not so positive ones. With respect to the furniture, you could not have summarised it better. It may be the perfect fit for a museum but then, why is the place you stayed in called a farmhouse? I do not believe it is a coincidence. Peeling away its rustic identity will simply mean that I am taking the reader and prospective holidaymakers for a jolly ride. And the furniture is the same as depicted in the farmhouse pictures widely available on the net. Regarding the mattresses, we have checked all of them and rest assured we have changed those that we feel may not be up to top notch standard. Regarding air conditioners, this is a constant struggle that we have faced. Albeit the ceiling slabs (not concrete) offer better ventilation, we may have to introduce units to beat the scorching heat, especially the mid August one. Again, we will consider this possibility whilst remaining loyal to the original concept of a farmhouse. Kind Regards Lorraine

How do damage deposits work?

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lorraine (the owner) a message.

If Lorraine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
