Just newly renovated and extended to create massive master bedroom and ensuite adjacent in February 2017!

A charming and secluded log cabin tucked away in the high meadows of Craggantoul Estate, Ben Lawers Rest has two spacious ensuite bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two single beds. The light and airy holiday cottage has neutral and contemporary furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen with all the mod cons!

Both bedrooms are newly refurbished and the master bathroom also has a walk in power shower and a lovely free standing bath tub from where guests can soak in the views of the meadows and Loch Tay. Doors open from the living area and from the master ensuite bathroom onto a spacious covered veranda for easy access to the outdoor private hot tub and where guests can enjoy the idyllic beauty of the estate, with unrivalled views over the loch and surrounding meadows.

Ben Lawers Rest is two hours from Glasgow and Edinburgh and is rich in history, wildlife, activities and attractions, with water sports, hill walking, mountain biking, fishing, golf courses, castles and distilleries on the doorstep!

The two bathrooms are equipped with showers and deep baths to sink into at the end of the day. The light and airy holiday cottage has neutral and contemporary furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen with all the mod cons! From the large living area and master bathroom, doors open onto a spacious decking area from which to enjoy the idyllic beauty of the estate, with unrivalled views over the loch and surrounding hillside. And if enjoying the views from the decking is not enough, how about soaking them in from the private hot tub in front of the cottage?

The views over the loch are breathtaking and our guests are free to wander the orchards and meadows down through the ancient oak forests past a lake and over streams to the loch where we have fishing rights for trout. The area is rich in wildlife and guests will see the deer roam freely around the grounds and the vibrant bird life on the estate. We have garden furniture and a BBQ during summer months.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
