Kilmore Cottage is located just two minutes’ walk from the village of Kilmore, set on our organic farm with rolling fields surrounding. Quiet and peaceful, yet only twenty minutes from the Wexford town, and bowling, golf and many other activities and attractions. Helpful owners live adjacent, and we can recommend excellent restaurants and beach all within a five minute drive or provide a guided farm tour.

The open plan living/kitchen/ dining area opens out onto a furnished patio, and the enclosed garden is ideal for realxing or for children to play in. With one double and two twin bedrooms, the cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The cottage is well equipped and we included complimentary consumables such as washing detergent, washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, toilet paper and more!
The WiFi access (wireless broadband internet access) is also complimentary.
The upstairs bedrooms are cleverly designed and spacious with fitted furniture by an interior designer.
The downstairs open plan living room/kitchen/dining area is very spacious bright and welcoming.
We have the wheelchair symbol from Failte Ireland, and are delighted to be able to welcome wheelchair users to the property.
The downstairs double bedroom has an adjoining en suite bathroom, includes a separate bath and large wet room style shower.

There are 3 cottages set in one small courtyard style development, each with its own large garden space. Children can try out the play boat on the front lawn while adults can relax in the patio chairs or dine al fresco at the patio table.
There is lots of room to park, at both the front and back door, and there are no steps at the property. Wheelchair users can therefore go straight in.
Guests can often see our cows, sheep or adorable donkeys in the paddocks adjoining the cottages.

Why can't I call Helen (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Helen (the owner) a message.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
