Catch the Breeze is a self-catering, north-facing home situated in the popular suburb of Rexford in Knysna. The property is ideally located a few minutes drive from the lagoon, Knysna Heads, town centre and 2 golf courses in this part of the Garden Route.

This tastefully decorated house boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed. The fully equipped kitchen contains a gas stove with an electric oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, utensils, cutlery and crockery. There is also a scullery area with a dishwasher, washing machine, and a tumble-dryer.

The house is equipped with inverter and solar panels, which means that essential electricity consumers such as lights, WiFi, TV can be used during times when exposed to load shedding.

The dining area has an 8-seater table, and the lounge features a 55-inch flat-screen TV with a DStv decoder, as well as a micro Hi-Fi system with a CD player. Free Wi-Fi Internet access is available in the house. The lounge leads out to a patio and a well-manicured garden, which also boasts a north-facing, solar-panel heated swimming pool.

From the garden, one can admire lovely views of the Knysna Lagoon, over the Knysna Golf course and the picturesque Outeniqua mountains in the blue distance.

Why can't I call Rainer (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rainer (the owner) a message.

If Rainer (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
