Have you ever heard of people who plan to stay for free? They book a place, stay for 90% of the booked time, then leave without saying a word, then send you a private message with a threat that unless you refund them the full amount they will write a bad review?? Well, this is one of those people . Here are some facts: Ian booked for a week, arrived and stayed for 6 of the 7 days booked. We saw each other every day, exchanging a few words , nothing was ever said that he is unhappy and then he left the day he knew we were out for the day... If the place was so terrible, surely he would reach out to me, the owner and Tripadvisor to sort out whatever the problem might be? HE DID NOT DO THAT . Anybody familiar with booking through a third party like tripadvisor, booking.com etc knows that they can reach out to them anytime and then the third party would contact the owner, tell them what grievances the guest might have and ask the owners to rectify them, otherwise they would find alternative accommodation for the guests. That is also the reason why payment to the establishment only gets done 48 hours after check in. This is because the assumption is that if the guest is unhappy they would sure speak out within 2 days ?? Beletage has been established for 6 years now, please check out our reviews on other sites like booking.com or our own website...

This guest refused to pay for her stay and we had to get security and the police involved. I wish there was a platform to report guests like her who stay, refuse to pay and then leave bad reviews on top of it Please read our other reviews and then form your own opinion. Why can't I call Gudi (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gudi (the owner) a message.

If Gudi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
