Happy View is a beautiful private resort on Koh Samui, sleeping up to 10 guests (more possible upon request) . Nestled in it's own idyllic setting, 5 minutes walk from the beach, the resort consists of 2 gorgeous cottages,enclosed in a stunning walled tropical garden with private swimming pool, viewing tower and childrens playground.

Happy View is located on the much quieter and secluded south side of Koh Samui. So if escaping the tourist trail sounds good to you then this is the perfect place to come and stay! Your own completely private walled in resort, with a luscious tropical garden and swimming pool, covering 3500 square metres of your own private paradise, and only 5 minutes walk from a gorgeous quiet beach with stunning sea views.

Included in the price are all cleaning fees, towels and bedding, a toiletries pack (shampoo conditioner, shower gel and body lotion), chilled water and complimentary unlimited Wi-Fi connection throughout the resort. All taxes and service charge for our wonderful team of staff who will look at you are also included in this price!

Happy View also has it's very own tower - climb to the top and you will be rewarded with glorious 360 degree views of the beautiful tropical land, sea and islands nearby.

Local bars and restaurants in the near vicinity are plentiful, and the busier towns of Lamai and Chaweng for shopping and more lively nightlife are only a short 15-30 minute drive away.

This brand new resort was renovated by Michel and Kiki, your friendly hosts from The Netherlands, who have taken their time and expertise to get it "just right" and they are now ready to open their doors and welcome you in to their amazing home! Bringing together a stunning combination of Thai influence and Western luxury, Happy View offers an exotic retreat whilst still providing all your home comforts, a perfect combination to make sure you have a perfect stay!

We have 3 lovely staff who live onsite, so security isn't an issue with our 24hr security guard! The staff will also clean your rooms, set up the pool beds and replenish towels when necessary. The resort manager will also be on hand throughout your stay to answer any questions you may have and help if you would like to book any excursions or would like some advice on our favourite local spots to dine out!

The resort has 2 cottages within it's grounds:

Cottage 1 has two bedrooms (1 x Kingsize, 2 x Single beds) and it's own kitchen, living space and bathroom.

Cottage 2 has three bedrooms (2 x Kingsize, 2 x Single Beds) and two kitchens, two living spaces and two bathrooms.

Both cottages are equipped with flat screen TV's, there is cable TV access in the resort and we also provide a wide range of movies which can be viewed from each TV via USB.

Both cottages also have wonderfully comfortable sofa beds, which can be used as extra beds upon request, for a small surcharge.

As well as the living spaces inside the cottage, a lot of your time will probably be spent on the patio areas outside each cottage - each patio area has comfortable seating, tables and fans. The perfect spot for a cocktail as the sun goes down!

Also, as well as the three bathrooms which are listed, two of which are accessible from bedrooms - meaning en suite, but also accessible via another door so can be used by all, we also have two toilet only rooms - one in the dining area and one in Cottage 2.

With both cottages hosting their own kitchens, if you would like to have a self-catering holiday, you will be more than well equipped to do so. However, if you would like to be pampered on your holiday, then you will be very happy to read that Happy View also has it's own restaurant/bar area. If you would like the fully serviced option we can easily arrange a private chef to cook you delicious meals, and our bartender can be on hand to serve you scrumptious cocktails by the pool and cold beers and fruit shakes just when you want them!

(There will be a surcharge for fully serviced options, which is negotiable depending on your own personal desires! )

Happy View is also a great spot for children. The resort is private and walled in, so the kids can roam freely around and our mini playground and children's swimming pool are a sure fire hit for your little ones! We have a children's high chair and can arrange a baby cot upon request.

We will also be on hand to help you organise any excursions and outings you would like to do during your stay with us - there is an abundance of exciting things to do on and around Koh Samui - and can help arrange transport for you too. If you would like to do some sport during your time with us then we can help arrange anything from Yoga to Muay Thai classes!

There are almost no limits, we like to customize your stay to make it a very special experience. So please feel free to send us a message and tell us exactly what you would like!

We have a beautiful pet parrot -Lucy, who lives onsite in her cage! Generally speaking she's very quiet and you will never hear her, although she does sometimes like to say Hello! During the night she also likes to sleep though - so she won't keep you awake!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
