Description from owner

Description

If you are looking for an extremely relaxing and lazy beach holiday in Thailand, then why not consider the little known island of Koh Kho Khao? Paradis Villa resort is one of very few resorts situated on the west coast of a long, deserted stretch of beach and offers beautiful sunsets, safe swimming, romantic seaside strolls, unspoilt nature and solitude! The onsite, open-air restaurant offers an extensive array of delicious Thai and European food, fast, efficient and friendly service and one of the best Panaeng curries in the region. Greet the warm, tropical mornings on your private terrace and arrange for breakfast to be delivered. Alternatively, cook your breakfast in the privacy of your own kitchen that offers basic conveniences.

The resort boasts two swimming pools but the real attraction here is the beach where you can lounge comfortably on chairs or flop onto a large bean bag to soak up the sun. Top the day off with a refreshing cocktail at the quaint beach bar while you watch the sun disappear under the horizon.

The villa itself has three bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers including one ensuite, kitchen, living room and terraces in the front and the back. The main living area is air conditioned and there are ceiling fans in all the rooms.

The lovely staff are happy to arrange diving and snorkelling trips or speedboat trips to nearby islands. Motorbikes are also available for rental at cheap prices and there are even two tuk-tuks for larger parties if you wish to explore the island.

At the pier, you will also find some restaurants and a few shops for something different and you can alway hop on a long tail boat to the other side to visit the numerous shops and restaurants in Khaolak about 25 minutes away.

Please note that there is a resort and utility fee of 100 baht (2.25 GBP) per adult per day . This is required to cover the cost of cleaning and resort maintenance. The staff here will look after you very well.

Additionally, there is an electricity use fee of 11 baht per kwh, the total of which is dependent on how much electricity you use. Turning of air conditioners when not in the villa is a good way to significantly reduce electricity costs.
