From the owner

Indah Houz is a private residence of the fun family that runs Indah's Living Gallery. We bake our own cakes, pies, make our own ice cream & nasi lemak (coconut fragrance rice) while we also serves Italian Coffee, tea & freshly squeezed 100% juice.

We have two BIG rooms that's equipped with its own aircon & fan, LCD TV & DVD player. Some selection of DVD titles are also provided. Hence you can assure of privacy as there's only two huge rooms.

UPDATE 16 Sept 2016:

Only 1 room that accommodates 4 people, is available in October 2016.

So please just email us if the date shows it's unavailable as some guests may just rent one room instead of both our rooms. Or if you have some special request or tour/transportation that you would like us help arrange.

Loft (20' x 14') has:

- 1 King platform bed

- Two single beds i.e. sleeps up to 4 people in the room

- On average RM95 per night for two people.

Mezzanine (30' x 20') has:

- A Queen size bed.

- 2 extra mattresses can be arranged i.e. sleeps up to four people in this room.

- On average RM75 per night for two people

Towels, sheets, quilts/blanket, coffee & tea provided.

Rates quoted are for two people per room.

So please share with us the number of people staying so we can suggest to you which of the two (if not both) rooms to take.

The rates reflected here may vary as the system is not that intelligent to know if you require 1 or 2 rooms ;op We charge in MYR/RM (Ringgit Malaysia) but the system does not provide this currency, hence you will see the rates here in USD.

- Maximum of additional 2 people allowed per room.

Indah is made up of:

1. A Living Art & Event Space,where visitors will have the opportunity to interact & see Sarawakian artist & artisans at work.

It's also an event space where we hold weekly events. Currently we have had it for wedding shoots, batik theme farewell party, host classical opera, poetry, improvisational theatre, birthday party, flea market to showcase local talents in 100% handmade products etc.

2. A place to chill over coffee, home made savouries (quiche, cottage pies) & home made cakes & ice cream & local food like our much loved nasi lemak. Everything is done with love so come experience it & the rustic ambience where most furniture are up-cycled ;o)

Why can't I call Colin (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Colin (the owner) a message.

If Colin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
