This luxury top floor penthouse apartment (3rd floor reached by lift) in la cala is fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard,it has aircon,32"flat screen TV with full Sky Package (including sports,films etc), dvd,hi fi system and Free Wi-Fi . Fully fitted kitchen with w/machine,dishwasher,f/freezer,microwave etc.The property is on one level and comprises of master bedroom with en-suite including shower and jacuzzi bath. 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds and shower -room. Sitting/dining room has seating for 6 and leads out onto the terrace which has stunning sea views (south facing) which has table and 4 chairs,2 sunlounges. The complex has 2 adult pools, 2 kiddy pools and a kiddy play area set within attractive gardens. The very popular La Cala Village is only a few minutes walk away where you will find bars,restaurants,shops,banks and all the amenities you could require. There is a good bus service 400m from the apartment which will take you to the popular towns of Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerto Banus etc.

“Superb Location for a relaxing break”

Very easy booking process. Sue & Mick were very helpful and flexible throughout. We arrived to a clean and well equipped apartment with a large supermarket opposite the complex and a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants nearby. The town centre is only a few minutes walk with a further selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The local beach is large and sandy and the coastal walk to Calahonda is well worth doing. We stopped for lunch in the sun at one of the many chiringuitos along the way and enjoyed large plates of calamares fritos and gambas pil-pil with some lovely wine to wash it down...in December!! The south-west facing terrace with a view of the sea was a sun trap in the afternoons. We hoped to drive down with our pooch and stay again next September but unfortunately it is already booked. Highly recommended.

“Home from home”

Myself and my son have just come back,it's the best apartment we've stayed in so very well equipped with wifi all TVs channels washing machine,there's nothing else they need here truly a home from home . The area is great with 2 swimming pools a little park for the kids,amazing views from balcony .all amenities very close by including beach,shops,bars restaurants and bus stops very well situated. As soon as I got back I tried to book again but my dates were already booked up for next year so I'd advise anyone to book early. The owners were fanrastic nothing was to much trouble for them. A real gem in la Cala well worth a visit.

“Great chill out holiday”

This was my first in this superb apartment, it is still very well kept and now benefits from free WiFi. The comfort levels of this apartment are second to none. If you had any questions Sue was on hand to help, nothing was too much of an ask.The appartmemt had all you want for a comfortable night in. Catch up TV was a god sent, and because of the location we were able to go out for a meal and a drink. Definitely go again. Booking with Mick and Sue is quick and simple process could't ask for better service. Thoroughly recommend it. Thanks guys

This was my third holiday in this superb apartment, it is still very well kept and now benefits from free WiFi. The comfort levels of this apartment are second to none specially if you are forced to stay in (it rained!!). Catch up TV was a god sent, and because of the location we were able to go out for a meal and a drink between rain showers. Definitely go again. Booking with Mick and Sue is quick and simple process could't ask for better service. Thoroughly recommend it.

Wow. A beautiful spacious apartment. Everything you need and more. Great communication with the owners. Very close to all bars shops restaurants and all within walking distance. The pool area is lovely too with palm trees. Will definitely be going back.

“The whole month of March”

This cosy, well used apartment is in a great location, not far away from the centre of La Cala, via a footbridge or underpass. It is quite comfortable, and well equipped. If you want to cook in there is plenty of pots and pans, along with crockery and cutlery. The TV comes via the internet, sometimes when windy it froze, it then had to be rebooted. You have catch up TV which was handy, and a DVD player. The lounge/dinning room is cosy, and leads out onto a large sunny balcony, in March the sun came round onto it at 10 in the morning till 6 in the evening, when it went behind the mountains.There is a BBQ on the balcony, which we did not use, and a very hand awning for some shade. The two bedrooms are also cosy, both have wardrobes, with just hanging space, lots of hangers are provided. In the main bedroom one wardrobe has a safe and is full of books, so if you are pushed for weight leave your books at home, you will find something to read amongst them.The en suite bathroom has a jacuzzi bath, which we did not use, we used the walk in shower in the family bathroom, plenty of hot water any time of day. In March it was nice and quiet, all though there is a primary school at the end of the road to the right, we were not disturbed that much, when sitting on the balcony. Chrissy and Paul who look after the property are delightful, very helpful and friendly, they will try and solve any problems you might have very quickly, and Paul can pick you up, and take you back to the airport if you tell Sue or Mick to book him. Make sure that you get a phone call from him confirming the pick up. Lidl is right next door, if you take the lift down to the garage and walk through to the gates you come out almost in Lidl's car park. they have a fresh meat counter and deli, as well as freshly baked bread every day, we did a very big shop on our first morning, took the trolley across the road unloaded it and took it back about an hour later, saves carrying loads of bags. Outside Lidl is a little bus 119 that takes you to Mirimar shopping centre it goes at certain times, it also picks you up across the road via the footbridge outside the BP garage about 20 mins after leaving Lidl. By the BP garage you can also get the 220 to Fungirola, once in Fungirola you can take the train to Torremolinos Arroya De Miel/Benalmedena (for Tivoli and the cable cars) Malaga. There is a nice market on Wednesday and Saturday a few minutes walk away, and you have the Wok restaurant more or less in the grounds, nice for lunch or dinner, there is also a large Aldi opposite with very nice fruit and veg. Loads of restaurants, the nearest ones if you come out the front door, turn to the right a few along there, try Ator they serve Italian and Asian. Our favourite was El Olivo it is just behind the BP garage , superb food very friendly waiters and a singer on Saturday nights. Thank you Sue and Mick for our stay, we hope to return one day.

We have been holidaying in La Cala for the last 8 years in various rental apartments but this one tops them all! The location is perfect for walking to the beach or into La Cala itself for dinner or drinks. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby and there is a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays 5 mins walk away. Despite all the amenities close by the apartment and complex was very peaceful and well maintained. Our son loved the swimming pool. We also liked the underground parking and 24hr security. As for the apartment itself it had everything you could possibly want or need and was spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen. The balcony is superb and we spent a number of evenings enjoying the view and making use of the bbq. Mick and Sue were very helpful and we have already rebooked for 2017.

This was our 3rd stay in La Cala, but our 1st at Casa Azul. Mick & Sue's apartment was perfect for our needs. It has everything you need to make your holiday a pleasurable experience. If you enjoy a home from home type of holiday, the apartment has everything you could need. The Lidl supermarket next to the complex, and other supermarkets and shops close by, make it perfect for a self-catering break. On the other side of the complex there is a good selection of bars and restaurants so you can eat and drink out without having to venture too far. The centre of La Cala has a large selection of shops, bars and restaurants, and is an easy 10min stroll from the apartment. The seafront and beach is also a short walk away. We were already fans of La Cala, but staying at this apartment made this holiday our most enjoyable yet. We will be returning and look forward to staying in Mick & Sue's lovely apartment again.

what a wonderful apartment, this was our second stay at mick& sues place it is fully equipped and a home from home. the balcony has a lovely sea view and perfect for a bar-b-que. great location close to some good restaurants and friendly bars. the gardens and pool area are kept very clean and tidy. will be booking a third stay soon.
