Rural house in a family house of character in the center of a beautiful park of 5500 m² with trees, near the pleasant village of La Chapelle Aux Choux. Its location south Sarthe puts it 35 minutes from the circuit of 24 hours of Le Mans and closer to the most beautiful castles of the Loire (Azay le Rideau, Villandry, Amboise, Le Lude ...), the ZOO de la Flèche (18mn) . The environment is conducive to many walks in a remarkable forest. 19 bicycles can be used at no extra cost, most of which are mountain bikes, ideal for our small paths. Hikes will make you discover the diversity of nature (flora, fauna ...). At your door (from the cottage) is the paradise of nature lovers. The cottage is suitable for groups of up to 15 people with adapted and complete indoor facilities (1 satellite TV per room, WIFI available ...) The park is also secure for children who can play in peace (portico games and toys available including scooter and small bike). A boules pitch can make you happy around beautiful parties. Boat trips on the river Le Loir (located 500 meters from the cottage ...) can be envisaged and sleigh towed by two magnificent percherons. For lovers of starry nights, there are long moments to spend in the park with his eyes riveted to his telescope. The cottage has been designed to accommodate families, groups of friends, sportsmen, nature lovers, workgroups ... It is generous, warm, flexible and adaptable, easy to access, secure, soothing for lovers of nature and comforting for the followers of rurality ... The cottage is a reflection of a long family history in this house of character. A display also makes it possible to enrich oneself on the magnificent enviable vistas in our close environment (functional mill, remarkable garden ...).

19 bikes are at your disposal to make nice walks of several hours. You can consider boat and carriage rides in the surrounding forest. With your car you can consider visiting Tours, Le Mans, Angers in less than an hour and troglodytes in Troo through the Jasnière vineyard. In a short distance, there are many beautiful visits to make.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Guy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
