In winter there is 43klms of cross country and Nordic skiing, Naves is the highest of all Savoie Nordique areas, offering numerous circuits. There is a place to rent the skis/ raquettes/luge 2 klms away. If it's alpine sports you want the 3 valleys is a 45 minute drive, or Val Morel 35mins, its a matter of going down the mountain and up the other side. Tennis and swimming are 13kms,
Attached to the chalet is Nikki's pride and joy, her bespoke cookery school. Classes are suited to people of all cooking abilities, the only thing we ask you to bring along is your passion for learning about French local food, the region, an empty stomach and a smile.
Chalet Savoie Faire is family friendly and dog friendly. Your time with us can be whatever you want it to be; full of alpine activities, relaxing and enjoying the stunning surrounding countryside or enjoying time in the bespoke cookery school attached to the chalet, or a mix of all of these!

Private walking guides are living in the village, reservations are required for full day of half day walks.
There is a climbing wall 5 minutes from the house, bring your own equipment and enjoy the peaceful climb under a canopy of shading trees.

From the entrance you have the double Princess suite with en suite, then opposite there is the Tarine twin room. The kitchen is central and equipped to a very high standard, from here you have a the red bathroom & a large pantry/ wash room. Up a few steps is the beautiful lounge area with open fire, this leads you either into the old stable which is the dining room or onto the private sun terrace. Upstairs there is the large bathroom (24m2) with a luxury bathtub and walk in wet shower area, there is the four posted double bedroom, next to this is the cosy bunk room.All bedrooms have flat screen TV's and DVD players, there is also a home cinema in the lounge with surround sound and free sky view. Play station 2 with games, many DVDs to watch and many books to read in front of the open fire.There are bathrobes for each adult, slippers and toiletries and all the bed linen is of the highest quality.Breakfast is served daily and we include a mid week towel change. There is the possibility of evening meals (30€ per person with wine, children 18€ )and picnic hampers at 20€ pp with prior arrangement. Cooking lessons can also be an option with advanced warning, from 90-150€ including lunch or dinner with wine.The property has triple glazed windows throughout, underfloor heating and ceramic wall heating, plenty of hot water and lambswool bed toppers- your comfort is our priority. Please note that we live above the property (separate) so we are on hand to help you with each part of your holiday if required.

Pool and tennis are 13kms / rock climbing wall if you have your own material is 200meters, nearest shops are 13km although provisions can be brought to you if required.There are numerous walking itineraries starting from the village and maps are within the property for you to use. The trails are well maintained during the summer months and become cross country ski / raquette trails in winter with snowfall. It is the highest cross country area in Savoie, offering amazing tracks through the forest.
