The village of La Turbie is perched on the hillside above Cap Ferrat and Monaco. It offers a good choice of restaurants and bars as well as a selection of shops for everyday needs and a picturesque medieval village centre. Beaches are just a short drive away and there is a municipal swimming pool accessible on foot (July-August). Easy to get to, being 5 minutes from the A8 motorway and 25 minutes from Nice airport.There are loads of places to visit in the surrounding area (historic villages, monuments, exotic gardens) and some stunningly beautiful walks along the coast or in the surrounding hills. An ideal base for exploring further afield - into north Italy (Genoa, Sanremo), into the eastern Var (Grasse, St Paul de Vence), or up into the alpine valleys (Breuil sur Roya, Saorge). And of course the lovely town of Nice offers its spectacular yearly carnival.The apartment is the first floor of a stone village house, overlooking the valley and with a magnificent view to the sea. Spacious lounge/dining room, dining table for 6, convertible settee. Double bedroom. Twin bedroom. Shower room with toilet. Separate kitchen. Lage balcony terrace with dining furniture or 6, sun-loungers, parasol, griddle and the view. A convertible settee in the lounge for sleeping up to a maximum of 6 people.
