This luxury apartment is set in lovely countryside with stunning views amidst the olive groves and yet only minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve and the towns of Lagos and Portimao. Lagos is a very tradional little town with lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. Absolutely perfect for families looking for a mix of country, town and beach. This luxury apartment is situated in a prime location overlooking a large pool on the beautiful condominium of Vale de Ribeira.

Recently finished, this apartment is neutrally decorated and tiled throughout. The fully fitted kitchen has black granite surfaces and integrated stainless steel appliances. Sliding doors lead out from the open plan sitting/dining room on to the balcony and gardens beyond.The large double bedroom has a built in wardrobe and again doors open onto the balcony. The bathroom is tiled throughout with marble surfaces and there is a shower attachment over the bath.

The apartment is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the private gardens are filled with olive trees, lavender and many other pretty shrubs, there are ample sunbeds around the pool area and there are plenty of areas for children to play plus their own pool which is ideal for smaller children. The property has its own parking space. Each window has an external drop-down shutter which can be locked.

“Perfect accommodation for our small, young family”

My husband and I booked this apartment for 2 weeks in June as our first real overseas holiday with our son who was 23 months old when we travelled. It was perfect for what we needed, easy to find, not too long of a drive from the airport. There was plenty of parking, in fact it was really quiet when we visited. The property was spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen etc. The bedroom was comfortable with lots of room for our travel cot. The living area was very comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed with a shower over the bath, WC and bidet plus washbasin. The communal areas of the apartment were fantastically well maintained, with beautiful gardens and a lovely pool. The design of the pool area was great for toddlers, with stairs either side of the toddler pool helping to contain our little boy while he played. The toddler pool was shallow and perfect for little ones learning to swim. There was also a really nice pool for grown ups swimming and poolside bathrooms. There was no lifeguard on duty, so you do need to keep an eye on children that are unable to swim competently. There is not a shop or anything onsite, so you absolutely need a car, but there was plenty in the nearest little town, and really it wasn't much further to head into Lagos where there was everything needed for self catering, several really good supermarkets, and plenty of bars and restaurants if you are not inclined to cook at home. The apartment was well placed just to enjoy the sun, either at the pool or the local beach which was only a 10 minute drive away, or for attractions further afield. We took a sailing trip on an old boat that took us out to the grottos, went to the zoo, the castle and the spa town, as well as visiting many of the lovely towns and beaches along the Algarve coast. I would really recommend this apartment to couples and young families. It was quiet and well placed. The only demographic I can imagine that might not like it are people looking for a non stop party, in which case you might want to head for somewhere busier. But for us and our little boy, it was just what we wanted.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
