Lake Ohau Quarters is a modern lodge offering quality accommodation for groups of up to 24 people in the heart of the high country. Located on Lake Ohau Station, a merino sheep and beef farm, we offer a setting amidst rural paradise.

Perched on a grassy knoll, The Lake Ohau Quarters is rented exclusively to one group at a time.

With panoramic views of the lake and rugged mountains through to spacious communal areas with a large open fire and enviable kitchen, this is an inspiring place to stay while you explore this amazing part of the country.

Fully equipped kitchen facilities make cooking a breeze along with the 2 large dining tables to fit everyone for a great social occasion. Six bedrooms that include Queen, king singles and bunks and 2 spacious bathrooms and a mobility option down a long corridor provide peace and quiet away from the lounge area.

Whether its gentle walking or hard-core hikes, skiing or cycling the Alps 2 Ocean cycle trail this area offers unforgettable experiences for lovers of the great outdoors.

From fishing to astrophotography the Lake Ohau Quarters is the perfect place to base yourself while experiencing the diversity of this area offers you.

Lake Ohau Quarters on the shores of Lake Ohau. Warm, spacious and well-equipped, the Quarters is perfect for groups whether it be for gatherings of families and/or friends.

Rates: $NZ650 for 10 people (minimum of two nights). Extra adults are $40 each. One night rate is $NZ850 for first 10 people, extra adults $40 each. $250 refundable damages bond is also applicable. At the above rates you need to supply your own bed linen, blankets and towels or for an additional $30 person per stay we can make beds up and provide towels.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mel (the owner) a message.

If Mel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
