Location description from owner

The Florida region

Your vacation home sits waters edge on pristine Lake Pearl. A crystal clear, spring fed, sand bottom lake that is accessible only to the homes on the lake. Built in 1930 your home is a true "Florida Cracker" house. Now, that doesn't mean you're living in the past, No! This home has been renovated and you will feel like you have walked into an elegant vacation resort. Lounge, visit with friends, or watch your flat screen TV in your spacious living room. Have a romantic dinner in the intimate dining room which overlooks the lake. Sit on your back porch at your wrought iron dining table, or sit on the rattan seating area and just look out over the lake. There's nothing like it. We're still adding special touches to make your stay unforgettable

Lake Placid

It's not like a typical neighborhood, being on the lake you only have neighbors to your left and right, there are woods across the street. My best friends live to your right and if you like to visit they are very warm and welcoming but not intrusive. Now, I must tell you, there is a railroad track a block away. The train runs twice a day around one in the afternoon and again in the evening. It's very short and people who live here don't even notice it. We are close to town and all the nice shops there. I live on another lake here in Lake Placid, I will tell you, I don't care for it. That's why we bought on Lake Pearl, I grew up there and I consider it the only lake I would live on. We will live there when we sell our home. In the mean time please come and see why I love it so.
