From the owner

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1500 square ft. waterfront home is completely furnished. Central air conditioning. This is a non-smoking home. Smoking may only be done on the outside screened patio.

It has a large master bedroom with two large closets and plenty of storage space. The master bath has a large sink and vanity area, and has a shower.

The floor plan is split with the two other bedrooms on the opposite side of the house. The 2nd bedroom is large, with two closets a full size bed and a trundle bed that open to two single beds. The 3rd bedroom is the smallest and contains a full size bed, large closet, a desk, and dresser. The living room is large and has a large sectional leather couch, a chaise lounge and the entertainment center. The dining room and kitchen are side by side. The dining table can easily seat 6 with the additional leaf. The kitchen is large and has plenty of counter space. It is fully stocked with all you will need, but food.

One of the best features of the house is the 700+ sq. ft. screened in patio in the rear of the house. It stretches almost the whole length of the house and faces the fresh water canal with boat dock out side, where birds, otters and other animals are often seen in their natural habitat. Fishing can be done from dock in the canal, or if you have a boat, the lake is huge. 5500 acres.

There is plenty of dock space in the canal for boats.

It is a beautiful sight to see the sunset every night from the patio over the water.

There are two tables in the patio, and most of our guests usually eat their meals on the patio and love it. There is seating for at least 10 people. There is also a ping pong table on the patio.

The house is 25 minutes to the theme park Legoland, Less than 60 minutes to Disney World and 30 minutes to Sebring International Speedway.

Lake Wales Country Club & Golf courses, Florida Skydiving Center, and Bok Tower Gardens are all close by.

Crooked Lake surrounds the boating and fishing community. It is a 5500 acres lake and is known for its great fishing, wildlife, including birds of all kinds, and fishing tournaments.

Guests have access to the entire house and property. The lake is easily accessible from the back yard for boating, skiing, tubing, canoe and kayaking. Bring your watercraft. There is plenty to explore throughout the 5500 acre Crooked Lake. Kayaks and a canoe are available to use at the guests own risk. Any loss or damage to the canoe, or kayaks is the responsibility of the guest. Guests use of the dock, waterways is used at guests own risk. Owner assumes no responsibility for the use of the house or any of its associated facilities or properties.

Lake Wales Country Club, Oakwood Golf Course, and Lekarica Golf Course, the Eagle Ridge Mall, Lake Wales Airport & The Florida Skydiving Center at 440 S. Airport Rd. Lake Wales is also close by. The Universal Shooting Academy in Frost Proof has competitions year round and is also close to the house. Pets are allowed, preferably dogs. Pets are not allowed in beds or on the furniture. Cats and litter boxes are not preferred, and must be kept on the outside patio.

House is surrounded by a canal and lake. Supervise children always. Pets are allowed by the owner, but confine when left alone. Smoking is only allowed on the outside patio, not inside. Be careful of the neighborhood. It is surrounded by water. Supervise children at all times. Never feed any of the wildlife, and always be careful by the water.

Gary and his group were outstanding guests. They followed all the house rules and our communication was excellent. He seemed to love the house, the surrounding areas, and commented on all the friendly neighbors. It is definitely a lake side, family neighborhood. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
