This charming cottage is able to sleep six people across three bedrooms â one double en suite and two twin rooms. Note: 6 people plus 1 infant maximumIn the small hamlet of Tatham on the rural outskirts of Bentham lies this stunning property - an outstanding, semi-detached stone barn conversion just eight miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. Set in the grounds of the owner's farmhouse, this pretty property has been lovingly restored to incorporate attractive period features and practical modern fixtures. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with dining area as well as a lovely lounge with wood-burning stove and French windows to the patio, ideal for outdoor eating, or relaxing in the sun.

This ancient monument has become a distinctive feature of the landscape boasting spectacular views over the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Forest of Bowland - a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Excellent walking and cycling routes cross all three of these stunning areas, whilst nearby Bentham boasts a range of amenities and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. The market towns of Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton and Kendal are all within easy driving and are well worth visiting making this an exceptional destination no matter what time of year.
