Beautiful spacious self contained apartment/cottage minutes from the Cataract Gorge, First Basin And Cliff Grounds ( Launceston's premier tourist attraction ) and all local tourist attractions .

A large fully equipped gourmet kitchen highlighting Tasmanian black heart timber cupboards, cathedral ceiling ,chandelier and outlook to private patio / BBQ area with a table and chairs and a collection of potted topiary and bonsai. The lounge and dining areas are spacious also furnished with quality Tasmanian made leather sofas and Tasmanian black heart sassafras tables , contemporary lighting , original Tasmanian artwork and quality furnishings.

The Large bedroom has a reading area with a chaise lounge, contemporary steel queen bed, stylish en-suite and separate laundry plus a walk in wardrobe .

Views over the private garden, Launceston City and mountains are enjoyed from the light filled rooms that capture the sun and roman blinds are fitted to windows. Timber floors, rugs , wool carpet and tiles have been used throughout and compliment the furniture.

This unique accommodation is home away from home and does not feel like a 1 bedroom apartment because of its spaciousness. Accredited accommodation by Australian Tourism.

Thank you for submitting this excellent review of Topiary Haven. We enjoy looking after our guests ( pamper ) and providing a welcoming larder for them to enjoy during their stay. Glad you found everything you required to ' cook up a storm ' in the kitchen - makes the cooking task easier if you have the equipment and the local supermarket 3 minutes walk away. The birds are very busy and amusing scratching the Lucerne and building their nests - last year the nest was a little bucket in the gazebo for 4 chicks ( posted on Facebook ). Why can't I call Diana (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Diana (the owner) a message.

If Diana (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
