Tucked between the majestic mountains of a classical Swiss alpine environment, the town of Lauterbrunnen is famed for its natural beauty and spectacular Staubbach Falls opposite this apartment. Adventure seekers come to hang glide, parachute, base jump, rock climb or mountain bike ride. Amazing mountain walks with stunning views at every turn wait for your camera. Enjoy winter sports of skiing, sledding, skating or a sauna in the apartment building. Others come to soak in the lush greens and colours of summer, delight in the clean air and savour the pure water. Time spent on the Balcony will always be refreshing as the Waterfalls seem endless and the White Lutchine hurries along as you contemplate what to do with your day.

Perfect for a couple who want a quiet space to lounge in. A large table to spread out the newspaper or a cosy corner to sink into with a book. Perhaps you might refresh your mind through the mesmerizing Staubbach Falls from the balcony, living room or bedroom. Watch the water chase itself down the cliff in foamy cascades. Beautifully illuminated at night, the Falls go on tumbling. In winter, the occasional sharp crack of ice can be heard echoing down the valley from the snowy peaks reminding you that nature is alive. Every season has special features but you can always enjoy the brook by the Ey Hus gurgling its secrets in the peacefulness.

This non-smoking, no pets 2 room apartment 50 m2, on the first floor has warm furnishings with central/floor heating that you can change. 1 sleeping room with king sized bed, single bed & floor Mattress (most Swiss beds are 2 singles together) &cot/Pack & Play/travel cot if needed, generous cupboard space and direct view to Staubbach Falls from pillow. Also 2 single mattresses for more than 2 people. These can easily go in Lounge room. We said good bye to 2nd sofa bed & think that real mattresses are better. Watch the water chase itself down the cliff in foamy cascades. Beautifully illuminated at night, the Falls go on tumbling. Living room has a 2 x 2.5 sofas & dining chairs for 5, Internet Wi-Fi (20Mbs) and TV set to play your own media on your PC. PLUS 400 English Movies on a locked hardrive But you will be too buzy to watch them :) Speakers for IPod, view to Staubbach Falls. Convenient, open kitchen (3 hotplates, oven, micro wave, Dishwasher, rice cooker), exit to balcony. Shower/WC, soap, shampoo, body scales, hairdryer, iron & board, table tennis bats/balls. Balcony covered facing Staubbach Falls, with uninterrupted views. Curtains and block out metal shutters for long rest time. We have created a space for rest. First Sauna is free, lovely after a day skiing or walking.

EyHus is a small quiet apartment building of 7 residences. Downstairs is your own separate washer, dryer, tub, and bag storage room. Wash 24 hours, unlike other Swiss venues. Also a shared but safe ski room .Table Tennis, Sauna/shower (1CHF for 25min) . All-season access with exclusive use undercover parking. On the bus line to either Schilthorn Cable station to ski Mürren/Schilthorn, or to Lauterbrunnen for train to Wengen/Kleine Scheidegg. Free ski bus in winter. Walk is 15 minutes to Lauterbrunnen station and is well serviced with amazing cheese, meat and bakery shops as well as ski hire, bike, hairdressing, watch and gift shops, restaurants, cafes, 2 banks, Post, petrol, Tourist office (super helpful), adventure sports booking, swimming pool, mini golf, tennis, (Cross Country ski track to Stechelberg), geocaching, and supermarket. The walk will take you longer when you take time to enjoy the Lütschine, the pretty views and sit to paint the mountains from the South facing seat near the EWL. (We think J.R.R. Tolkien painted from here for his inspiration for Rivendell in 'Lord of the Rings'.)

If your group is larger than 4 (for our apartment) please contact us as our neighbours can also accommodate 4 and 4 so that you can all be together.

Switzerland is well serviced and taxed accordingly. much of your what you pay goes to cleaning, tourist tax, service costs, professional linen hire and taxed rubbish bags. Please don't ask for a discount. We provide lots of free things more than most apartments.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Ey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
