Villa Louisental is located 800 m from the wonderful mountain village of Le Hohwald, in 45 minutes from Strasbourg and Colmar. It is renowned for the quality of its air and freshness, is a resort that hosted celebrities such as Sarah Bernhard and Konrad Adenauer in time. The town stretches between forests and meadows with varied faces in which to walk. The proximity of the famous French vineyards and picturesque villages, the ski slopes, and the wooded mountain, rich in trails, will make your stay in varied pleasures. Castles, waterfalls, trails and winery tours are only a small part of the possible activities. Ideally located near the forest at the end of a road without traffic, our 1928 mansion has a calm and green space situation. The house is also suitable for seminars and courses, work and family meetings. It can accommodate up to 15 people. Look forward to a stay of rest or work, quiet and green, surrounded by nature without car traffic! This former hotel converted into a group house, surrounded by forests overlooking many hiking trails and cross-country ski trails. secluded and quiet location. Green areas with lime trees under which you can relax, listen to birdsong and the lapping of the creeks surrounding the location. You enter the village 10 minutes walk and you will find a bakery and grocery store, a doctor, many restaurants and the post with the tourist office. Supermarkets, other shops, markets and the wine route are within 10-20 minutes drive.

    House rules

    Normal rest regime, no big parties and celebrations. Small celebrations within the group size of 15 people inside the house are allowed, as long as our neighbors are not disturbed by loud music etc. Also remember that loud laughter on the porch can disturb the neighbors. Please from 22 o'clock only quiet activities / conversations on the veranda. Thanks!

    Oui, chère Anne, le cerf est revenu!! Il était plus au Louisental depuis 6 ans. J'avoue, j'avais un peu peur d'accepter votre groupe avec 10 chiens .. mais nous avons dû vraiment chercher avec mon équipe de ménage une trace de chiens... rien à faire, pas de trace! Pas un seul poil, pas un seul 'oubli' dans le jardin. Merci de votre respect pour ma belle Villa Louisental. Au plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau. Jutta

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    How do I edit my booking?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jutta (the owner) a message.

    If Jutta (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
