Description

Little Oak Barn is a lovely one bedroom, ground floor barn conversion, located on a farm and enjoys fantastic views of the surrounding fields and countryside. The cottage offers easy access Leighton Buzzard, Aylesbury and Milton Keynes. There is a Pub with a restaurant in the village.
A charming ground floor barn conversion, it comprises one double bedroom, a wet room (with wash basin, heated towel rail and toilet), a spacious open plan living room with kitchen - which is well equipped with modern appliances including oven and hob, microwave, fridge and kettle, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Extending dining table with four chairs.
In the living area, there is a pull out sofa bed, flat screen TV, DVD and free wireless broadband access.
French doors lead onto a patio with table and chairs.
Parking is available directly outside the property. Dogs by arrangement and access to fields by arrangement.

This property is located on the edge of the Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire borders. It is located in Central England and stretches from the outskirts of London to the bottom entrance of the Midlands. Home to the stunning Chiltern Hills (designated as an Area of Outstanding Beauty) and the meandering River Thames, Buckinghamshire is a diverse county full of history and charm. Why not visit one of the many pretty market towns or take a walk in the country, stopping at one of the many picturesque villages dotted throughout this county?

Take a day trip to London to satisfy all your shopping needs or visit the awesome Xscape building in Milton Keynes where you can Ski or Snowboard.

This is an area that is full of things to see and do, visit the stunning Waddesdon Manor or take the kids to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre for a day out that they will never forget. With many different manor houses and stately home located in the area, lovers of history will be in for a real treat. Feeling tired? why not visit one of the many excellent village pubs that serve tradtional fayre and great ale, sure to ease away the aches and pains of a filling day exploring.

Leighton Buzzard

The property has good access to both Aylesbury and Leighton Buzzard, both are market towns, with a selection of supermarkets, restaurants and shops. There are lots of activities to do in the area, from hiring a boat along the Grand Union Canal, to going to Whipsnade safari park, or driving in to Oxford, to try punting and view the university colleges.

A lively market town, Aylesbury is rich in history and is well known for the award winning Roald Dahl children's gallery, the Guttemann Sports Centre and the world famous Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

The cobbled market square is home to the local market which has been running since the 13th Century and is surrounded by more modern shops, cafes and restaurants. Market days are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Aylesbury is a good base for exploring the surrounding towns and villages and good train links will get you to London and Milton Keynes quickly and easily. Oxford is only an hour away, with the Cotswolds and Stratford on Avon about an hour an a half away, for a day out of sightseeing.
