The England region

A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Leintwardine

Leintwardine is a Roman village in Herefordshire, close to the Shropshire border. The village is mentioned in the Doomsday Book and today boasts a Post Office, lovely walks along the Herefordshire Trail and Shropshire Way and a fantastic Grade II listed parlour pub which offers a wide selection of real ales.
