Description

Fantastic 1 bedroom apartment (sleeps 4) with private patio / terrace area. Situated in Les Gets, France - at the gateway to the Portes du Soleil just before you reach Morzine (so a little bit closer to the UK). The apartment is on the free Navette bus route with the nearest stop just 20m away. The free bus runs every 30mins throughout the day in the ski season or every hour in the summer providing easy hassle free access to the lifts - just 5mins on the bus.

Apartment has a double bedroom with plenty of space plus a full size sofa bed in the living area. Flat screen tv with both French and UK (Freesat) channels, DVD, free Wi-Fi. Newly fitted kitchen area includes fridge, oven, 4 hobs and microwave. Outside terrace area with table, chairs and 2 sun loungers for the summer or even those clear blue sunny winter days.

Free private parking and use of integral secure garage storage for bikes / skis / boots with direct access from the apartment. No need to store equipment in the apartment giving you more room to relax after a great day.

For the summer we are registered for the "MultiPass" scheme so you get access to many of the facilities for 2€'s per day. The pass gets you free access to the swimming pool complex in Morzine, including the fantastic outdoor heated 50m pool, all pedestrian (ski) lifts, tennis courts, leisure lake and discounts on many other activities. A great way to enjoy the area and keep the costs down!

We live in the chalet above the apartment so always available for information and advice on the area. If you want company on a swim, bike or run in the summer just ask. And in the winter never say no to a ski.

“Fantastic little appartment.”

impressed with the service from the chalet owners Ron and Melanie straight away. Very fast response to all enquiries at the point of booking and the excellent service continued throughout. The appartment is lovely and sleeps a small family adequately and is very well appointed, with plenty of storage.The internal garage is next to the appartment and allows you to keep items that take up space, close by but out of the way. Or just a perfect place to keep your beer chilling!! There was plenty of hot water for showers and the appartment was lovely and warm on returning from a days Ski. The bus stop is literally over the road and there is plenty of space for The Car. There is a Sherpa just down the road which is very handy when the town Supermarket is busy and you can’t face long queues. We generally stay in larger accommodation and wondered how we would cope in a smaller appartment. All I can say is that we are already booking for next year and I am sure we will be returning year after year. Thank you very much Ron and Melanie.

Ron and Mel are the perfect hosts and were exceptionally friendly and helpful being experienced skiers themselves The apartment is well equipped with everything you might need. The welcome pack on arrival with immediate essentials of milk, cereals, tea, coffee, etc. was very thoughtful. Sun loungers on a snow-free terrace were an added bonus. The view while having a morning cuppa in bed was great. The beauty of this location is it is quiet, being on the outskirts of Les Gets, with the bus stopping every half hour less than 50m away to take us the few mins ride to the lifts . The Sherpa supermarket is within walking distance. We had a wonderful couple of weeks and will certainly be back if they will have us.

The accommodation at Croc Blanc had everything we required and more. With beautiful views and a lovely patio area to catch the sun, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Les Gets is ideal for summer or winter holidays and Croc Blanc is perfectly located for the year round activities. It is outside of the centre of the town so that it affords a wonderful serenity but close enough to have everything on the doorstep. Croc Blanc is a short walk from the ski lifts and on the free bus route with a bus stop right outside. We were provided with a host of information on things to do in the area, and there really is something for everyone, whether you are looking for total relaxation in the mountain air or an active break. There’s plenty to do in the area from enjoying the picturesque views at every turn to walking, cycling or just enjoying the laid back feel to Les Gets in any of the numerous bars and restaurants. We would thoroughly recommend Les Gets as great location all year and Croc Blanc as the perfect place to stay.

How do damage deposits work?
