Voortrekker Shetland holiday adult only apartments & Spa have unspoilt breathtaking views across the South East side of Shetland, right from the comfort of each place.

Our in-house apartments are all self contained, "Soothpunds" sits alongside "Mogill" on the north west side of the main building. It has two entrances accessed from the parking area and via patio doors with summer BBQ area which over look the stunning Levenwick Bay. From the lounge, take in the unspoilt views across Levenwick to the North Noss Cliffs and enjoy spectacular sunset colours as they spill over Mossi Hill flowing into the bay.

Soothpunds has a separate kitchenette, semi open plan bedroom to the lounge (with privacy blinds), extra storage closet and shower bathroom. Soothpunds is uniquely handcrafted like all our apartments with reclaimed historical local materials, with everything needed to relax and enjoy a holiday whilst taking in the stunning scenery. Levenwick beach is minutes by car, 25mins to Lerwick, 40mins to the North. Idyllic place to bird watching, sea life, rambling across the cliffs and much more. Levenwick is ideally situated within easy access to the main road to explore the whole island.

GUEST ACCESS:

We greet our guests on arrival and show to the apartment. Guests have their own private access to their apartments. There is direct access from our property to venture across the fields onto the Levenwick Cliffs below.

We are committed to a high standard of cleaning which has as always been at the top of our list.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

Shetland has very changeable weather, one can experience four seasons in one day so come prepared and pop some midgey repellent in with your essentials.

Travelling can be challenging with our weather so expect the odd delay.

NB: We recommend travelling with essentials in your ""hand luggage"" in the event your bag does not turn up on arrival.

Please let us know if you have any pet allergies or animal phobias. We have two tiny human friendly dogs. Due to our dogs having a heart condition and anxiety issues we are unable to accept any animal.

Why can't I call Piet & Nicola (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Piet & Nicola (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Piet & Nicola (the owner) a message.

If Piet & Nicola (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
