Welcome to Les Hirondelles - a detached, 3-star-accredited, spacious and comfortable barn conversion, ideally situated in the beautiful Lot-et-Garonne for your holiday in South-West France.

Located between Duras and Marmande, from here you can explore the nearby bastide towns and villages with their castles, market squares, river valleys, vineyards and sunflower fields.

Within 5 to 15 minutes drive, you can find markets and shops for your daily needs, bars and restaurants, or outdoor activities such as horse-riding, kayaking, crazy golf and animal parks.

There are atmospheric night markets during the summer season, with a wide choice of food stalls, arts and crafts, local specialities and live entertainment.

Hire some bikes or just bring your walking shoes, to enjoy a selection of marked hiking and cycling routes - one of which passes through the village.

You can even plan a day at the seaside, as Arcachon on the Atlantic coast is only an hour and 45 minutes away, boasting the largest sand dune in Europe.

The beautiful towns of Bergerac and Bordeaux, with their airports, are just 55 and 90 minutes away, whilst the channel ports can be reached in 8 to 10 hours.

Les Hirondelles enjoys views across the open countryside from the terraces and the 10x5m salt-water pool for your exclusive use during your stay.

Why can't I call Matt (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Matt (the owner) a message.

If Matt (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
