Discover a warm welcome to a unique style of life on the Seine on a yacht moored near Versailles and Paris, at Limay in the countryside of the impressionists. 

You will find peace and the luxury of being on board a beautiful and spacious historic yacht, constructed for Sir Winston Churchill in 1936, and built to his personal requirements with an especially spacious bar where he enjoyed his favourite drinks and his famous cigars. 

You can choose from several cabins with themed decoration which will transport you back to the times of Agatha Christie’s Poirot. 

You will be offered breakfast on the rear deck where you will have a view of the nearby 16th century Gothic cathedral with its glazed tile roof, and the river bridges of old Paris, one of which is 11th century, while ducks and swans come to visit you. 

Of course there are also a multitude of excursions you can make depending on what inspires you.

There is the chateau of Roche Guyon 6 Kms away and the village of Giverny at 20kms where you can visit the beautiful gardens and museum of the artist Monet, who lived there. There is also a restaruant there.

For children in particular there is an interesting  zoo and African safari park together with the chateau at Thoiry, 30 kms away.

Of course there is the Palace of Versailles and Rambouillet as well.

A trip to Normandy and the seaside to visit such places as Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville (150kms) is easily possible as is a visit to the allied landing beaches, passing via Caen and Bayeux where the famous tapestry of William the Conqueror’s invasion is displayed.

For gentle exercise there is the possibility of golf and walks on the towpath to admire sunsets that inspired all the Impressionists.

For your dinner appetite close by along, the riverside, are many high quality gastronomique restaurants.
