Just 20 minutes from Shannon Airport, this is the perfect location for exploring the south and west of Ireland. An hour's drive takes you to the seaside resorts of Kilkee, Lahinch, Ballybunion and Spanish Point. Closer still, enjoy the water sports at Killaloe on Lough Derg or visit the Norman caste at Bunratty with its folk village and mediaeval banquets.The Castle is the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland. Built in 1425 it was restored in 1954 to its former medieval splendour and now contains mainly 15th and 16th century furnishings, tapestries, and works of art which capture the mood of those times. Bunratty village which surrounds Bunratty Castle and Folk Park offers excellent shopping including Meadows & Byrnes and the Bunratty Folk Park Stores. After your day's shopping, treat yourself to a great meal and drink in some of the finest bars & restaurants around from Durty Nellies and the Creamery bar to JP Clarkes and Gallagher's restaurant.

Don't forget you are within ten minutes of Adare, the prettiest village in Ireland! . Adare has a blend of traditional thatched cottages and modern houses, scattered throughout the village. It also features a fine golf course as well as the world renowned Adare Manor Hotel.
Shopping is easy in Adare Village which also has many nice restaurants & cafes. Curraghchase Forest Park is nearby .It is a woodland estate and lakes around the shell of 18th century Curraghchase House, home of poet Aubrey de Vere. Visitors to the park can enjoy the 313 hectares of mixed woodland, 8 kilometres of multi-purpose waymarked trails, suitable for bicycles and walkers, a multi-access Lake Walk (1.5km) and Arboretum Walk (1.1km) both suitable for buggies and wheelchairs, two children's playgrounds, picnic and barbeque facilities

The stunning scenery of Killarney is little more than an hour's drive away.

Castlewell is also an ideal location for a drive to the Burren National Park of Co.Clare .The Burren region is internationally famous for its landscape and flora. A visit to the Burren during the summer months will leave a person amazed by the colourful diversity of flowering plants living together within the one ecosystem.
A visit to the world famous Cliffs of Moher is a must when touring the Burren Region

A visit to the beautiful city of Galway and the wild, craggy landscape of Connemara would make a lovely day out. Nothing is too far away!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Henry (the owner) a message.

If Henry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
